The Rejected Stone
Scripture: Psalm 118:22; Acts 4:11
“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.”
Jesus was rejected by religious leaders, misunderstood by the crowd, and abandoned by many followers. Yet God chose Him as the foundation of everything.
Rejection didn’t disqualify Him—it fulfilled God’s plan.
Sometimes we struggle with following Jesus because He doesn’t match our expectations. But truth isn’t determined by our comfort—it’s established by God.
Reflection:
Are there areas where you’ve resisted Jesus because He challenges your expectations?
Ask God to soften your heart toward truth, even when it’s uncomfortable.
