Joy Sends Us Out With Purpose and Courage

When the shepherds heard, they moved—joy turned their fear into steps of faith. Even if you’re an introvert or feel limited, joy in Christ defeats the barriers that keep you silent and sidelined. Purpose meets you as you go: see Jesus, share Jesus, and let God use your ordinary voice. Small obedience carries big news, and heaven delights when the good news passes from heart to heart. Let joy send you to knock on one door, make one call, or speak one encouraging word. Joy doesn’t sit still; it moves you toward people God loves.

Luke 2:15–17, 20 — When the angels returned to heaven, the shepherds said, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this.” They hurried, found Mary and Joseph and the baby lying in the manger, and then spread the word about what they had seen; later they returned, praising God for everything just as it had been told to them.

Who is one person God is putting on your heart to encourage this week, and what is one specific, simple sentence of good news you can share with them?
