The Urgency of Setting Our Eyes on Jesus
Procrastination is a dangerous response to God’s offer of rescue. He provides the way of salvation and victory through Christ, but we must respond to it with urgency. The Holy Spirit is actively at work to chisel out sin and conform us to Christ’s image, but this transformation requires our cooperation. We must not wave off the help He sends; today is the day to set our gaze firmly on Him.
And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. (John 3:14-15 ESV)
