Christ at the Center

The strongest marriages aren't built on compatibility, shared interests, or even deep love - they're built on a shared commitment to following Christ together. When both spouses are growing closer to God individually, they naturally grow closer to each other. This happens because Christ transforms our hearts, teaching us to love unconditionally, forgive freely, and serve sacrificially. A Christ-centered marriage doesn't mean you'll never face challenges, but it means you'll face them with divine resources. You'll have biblical principles to guide your decisions, the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom, and a community of believers to support you. Most importantly, you'll remember that your marriage is meant to be a living demonstration of Christ's love for the church. This gives your relationship eternal significance and purpose beyond your own happiness. When the world looks at your marriage, they should see something different - a love that's patient, kind, and enduring. This kind of marriage becomes a powerful testimony that draws others to Christ.
'And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.' - 1 John 5:11-12
