The songs we sang on Sunday kept returning to one steady truth: God is at work even when life feels like night. Romans 8:28 doesn’t deny hardship; it declares that God can weave hardship into His good purposes for those who love Him. Worship begins to change when you stop measuring God’s goodness by your current comfort and start anchoring your hope in His character.
One way to practice this is to look back “throughout your history” and name where God made a way when you couldn’t see it at the time. Evidence often becomes clearer in hindsight, and remembering strengthens faith for what you’re facing now.
