Remember and Share God’s Blessings

We are called to remember and testify to God’s goodness for future generations.
God’s blessings are not just for our benefit—they are meant to be remembered, celebrated, and shared with others, especially the next generation. Setting up “standing stones” of remembrance, whether through stories, journals, or family traditions, helps us and those around us recall God’s faithfulness. When we openly share how God has provided, we encourage others to trust Him and keep the focus on His goodness. Our lives become testimonies that point others to the source of all blessing. Joshua 4:6-7 (ESV)
"that this may be a sign among you. When your children ask in time to come, ‘What do those stones mean to you?’ then you shall tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it passed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. So these stones shall be to the people of Israel a memorial forever."
Reflection: What is one story of God’s faithfulness in your life that you can share with someone this week to encourage their faith?
The sermon talked about being a “standing stone”—a visible reminder of God’s faithfulness. What is one story of God’s provision or grace in your life that you could share with your family or community this week?
