Our Worth Is Anchored in Christ, Not in Life’s Outcomes

Being blessed is not about having a life free from trouble or pain. True blessing is found in belonging to Christ, who never leaves us or forsakes us. The world may measure blessing by comfort, success, or possessions, but Jesus calls us blessed even in times of mourning, persecution, or loss. Our identity and security are rooted in Him, not in our circumstances.

When we remember who we are in Christ, we are able to stand firm no matter what comes our way. Gratitude becomes a way of confirming our worth and hope in Him alone. We are not defined by what we have or what we face, but by the One who holds us and calls us His own.

“For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” (Colossians 3:3-4, ESV)

Reflection: In what ways have you allowed your circumstances to define your sense of worth or identity? How can you remind yourself today that your true identity is found in Christ alone?
