True peace is from God, not self-made

Peace cannot be manufactured by willpower, aesthetics, or avoidance; true peace comes when God’s light breaks through the chaos and unsettled places of life and begins to guide the heart. Being on the path of peace is a directional reality—an ongoing movement toward God—rather than a final destination to be achieved by human striving. Let go of manufactured fixes and choose one practical surrender that places you on the path toward the peace God offers.
Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Identify one area where you’ve been manufacturing peace (work, image, a relationship); what single practical relinquishment will you take this week (stop controlling, begin a nightly prayer of surrender, confess to someone) to step onto the path of God’s peace?
