A Life Group is a smaller gathering of people that happens outside of the Sunday morning worship service.

Life Groups can be organized around either study or interest.  Study groups center around Bible study materials.  Interest groups center around a common interest (age, stage of life, activities, etc.)

Life Groups can meet anywhere!  While some do meet at the church, we think the best Life Groups meet away from the church in homes, coffee shops, parks, restaurants, etc.

While every Life Group is different, all Life Groups should have a time of fellowship, devotion, and prayer.  Fellowship is where we get to know one another.  A meal, snacks, or activity  are all great ways to fellowship.  Devotion times can be as short as someone sharing about a scripture for a few minutes to a full in-depth Bible study.  Prayer is a time where group members pray for the needs of the people in the group.

We also love our Life Groups to engage in the community!  We recommend finding a community or service project the group can do together.  This can be working with a ministry that feeds the homeless, picking up trash along the lake, doing yard work for an elderly person, or anything else you can think of!

Life Groups meet based on a schedule determined by the group.  Groups usually meet every week, every other week, or once a month.

Life Groups are a place to grow in our faith together.  Often times, delicate things are shared by people in the group.  We ask that everyone in the Life Group would commit to guarding against gossip and a critical or negative spirit.  We also ask that Life Group members would abstain from tobacco/alcohol consumption during group time.
